So on Jan. 14, 2011 I updated my Fascinate to the 2.1.1 update from Verizon. Before then I had rooted by phone. After this update, apparently my root access has been removed? Is this because of the update or is it something else?

Whenever u hack a device like a phone, gaming console or w/e, u should never update it!

O I see that now...no I havn't tried that yet. I tried the One Click Lag Fix but I noticed the Free version and the Paid version have removed the ability to root

Superoneclick works great on the Fascinate. You should do a system backup before any update that way you can easily get your apps+ system data back easily.
