Does the number for download mean how many MBs a second it can, well, download?
Because I am pretty sure 33 MB/s is impossible. It would download a full movie in like 15 seconds.

It's showing 33 Mb/s, not 33 MB/s. The capitalized B would mean Bytes, but since it's lowercase, it's bits. So it's 33 Megabits per second.

Still, just about 4.125 megabytes per second is blistering fast IMHO. 33 mbit/s, 4.125 mB/s, its all the same....hahaha

Yep, its still amazing.
That means it could download a 45 minute TV show in about 30 seconds.
(Most TV shows of that time are about 120MB)

As of now on 3G, it takes about 15 minutes. Even though I really don't mind the wait.

i found it online somewhere, dont remember where but that time frame has been stuck in my head ever since. everywhere around me has 4G (Ithaca, Cornell, Rochester, NYC) EXCEPT Binghamton, and im really kind of annoyed about it. we have like 3 colleges here, and its the crossroads on all of those cities...and were not getting it for another year. thats ass-backwards if you ask me.

Although BU is a great school, it doesn't have anywhere near the prestige of the schools in Rochester, Syracuse, NYC and Ithaca. I think that Cornell drives Ithaca getting it. I think that Binghamton gets 4G sometime in 2012. It's confusing. I think Binghamton got 3G in 2006 and Erie, which is larger, got it in 2009. Erie got 4G this year, but Binghamton has to wait. I don't know how you explain Scranton getting it this year.
