    Hi All.
I'm a happy owner of Rezound.

I just noticed the location services icon in the menu bar at the top.
I knew it was there but I just got to wondering...

What are the privacy issues involved with that?
I think it also kills the battery some too, no?

    Thanks
    B

Yes, location services kill battery life due to the gps running in the background.

Verizon location services does not use the battery. It is permission to use the info being sent to/from the cells for e911 on your phone.
Vatothe0 gets credit for that answer as I also used to think it used battery until he schooled me.
