I got it too. After the update, here's the "About My Phone" listings --can anyone compare the kernel version to the .893 update?

System Version: 5.9.901.XT875.Verizon.en.US

Still Android 2.3.4

Baseband version CDMA_N_04.05.00R LTEDC_U_07.1E.00

Webtop version: WT-1.3.0-108_DBN-24

Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-g83f1a47

Build Number: 5.5.1_84_DBN-70

Oh c'mon. Seriously? I do NOT have time to hit Update a million times tonight.

Why, yes. Yes I am impatient. :)

Mine:

System Version: 5.5.893.XT875.Verizon.en.US

Android: 2.3.4

Baseband: CDMA_N_03.1C.57R ltedc_u_05.115.01

Kernel: 2.6.35.7-g68606e6

Webtop: WT-1.3.0-108_DBN-21

Interesting. Radio updates look to be a significant version change, with minor changes to the kernel and webtop.

For reference: I just got my Bionic the middle of last week. I had to port my number, so prior to this happening, I bypassed activation and updated immediately to 5.5.893 via WiFi. My number port went through two days later, and I activated my phone and added all the apps.

That isn't the one that OP's have.

I get that; I asked someone to post the .893 update information so I could compare to the 5.9.901 update, which is also on my phone. If you scroll back, you'll see I posted my information as well in an earlier post to make the comparison.
