The Verizon Droid expansion is on! AndroidCentral has just posted a snapshot of a the new Motorola A555 / Calgary Android Phone appearing in the Verizon system. The last specs that we are able to dig up indicated this phone would have: an optical joystickQWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, digital magnetometer, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot, Spring-assisted slider.

Screen size is smaller than the Droid isn't it?? Haven't seen the screen size in any post about it. But from the pics it looks smaller.

? So is this supposed to be a median between the Eris and the Droid?

Getting crowded a little quick isn't it? Sure Android is growing but, IMHO not enough for Verizon to need 3 different models.

Agreed. At least the keyboard is centered, I'll give it that much. It really does look horrible though. Looks like a cheap china knock-off of the Motorola Droid.

I can't even give it that! Look how small it is. I'd rather have it larger.
