verizon and porting

I recently added my girlfriend to my family share plan. i got her a droid pro.She had us cellular as her provider. she wanted to bring her number with her. we went through all steps and disaster hit. booth our phones lost service. they put her number as mine, as still have not connected her. i finally got VW to give me my number back. I had to totally refigure my phone. It was like it was new. all my apps came up, however i had to either register again, sign in, and now im having to place my widgets on the screens like i had. this has took me all day! once they get my girlfriends phone up and running, does she have to refigure the way i did? is there anyway i could restore my phone to the way it was before i had to reset it? please help. Not unless you created a backup prior to this mess...

how do you do a backup? is it too late for her and me?

To do a complete backup that includes data I do believe you need to be rooted and use Titanium backup or a similar app....

I am sure someone who does this will chime in....
