Is it smart to buy an unlocked 6P for use on Verizon? I'm intrigued by this phone, but can't get a good answer when talking to a Verizon agent.
Thanks ,

The Nexus 6p works fine on Verizon. You should be able to grab one for a steal on Swappa

Thanks, I've been looking at Ebay and anything that looks good is still too much for my budget. I have a Note4 and it gives me some problems with crashes. I did a cache wipe this afternoon, so I'll see how that works.
I have macular degeneration and need the larger screen
I'll check out Swappa.

What needs to be done to set it up on Verizon? Do I use my simple card from the Samsung?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Just put in your VZW sim and it should work. I've tested it on VZW and that was what I did.

If you're coming from a Note 4, you'll have to get a new sim card. You should be able to get one for free from Verizon. I made the same switch. The Note 4 uses a bigger sim card than the 6P.

There's a guide here that PC wrote up and shared a video that someone else made that shows you how to use a template and cut the card down to size. I did that when I first got my 6P, but ended up having issues after a month or two and had to get a new sim.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a micro sim card, but might just go to y Verizon store. They've been helpful in the past .
