Verbatim External Hard Drives

Anyone have any experience with them? There's a 1TB on clearance where I work. With my discount, I could get it probably around the same price as a good sale on amazon. I read some reviews online, seemed promising. I've always been a fan of their recordable media, but I think the actual disk is Samsung.
