I know this has been asked, but I confused. After I install SPrecovery I made a back up this would be in the unrooted mode. If I want to go to the OTA 2.2 update can I use SPrecovery to go back to that time frame and wait for the Over the air update to show up on my phone? Or do I have to also get sprecovery off as well. I would like to keep it on as it is a great back up.

Sprecovery will block the installation of the OTA.

to save yourself time just flash the FRG01B SBF since AFAIK its the same version thats being sent OTA (with FRG22 being sent later). Its unrooted, it will save time, and it will be just like you did it OTA! (someone correct me if im wrong)

You can get the signed verizon OTA download in the news section, The Froyo Circus thread, on page 6. Look for Jrummy's post. It's the exact same as the OTA only it will not remove your root.
