Using headphone outlet on Droid 2 with an aux. cord

Hi,
I have the Droid 2. I was wondering if you can plug an aux. cord into the headphone outlet at the top of the Droid 2 and connect it to a car stereo, iPod stereo, ect. so I can listen to music off of my phone on a bigger system. I didn't want to try it if it doesn't work that way. Please let me know, thanks!

Yah it works on my droid 1, so I'm sure it would work on the droid 2. I'm like you, I love hooking my droid up to my big surround sound and car stereo.dancedroid

should work no problem. the AUX cord should work on ANYTHING with a headphone jack.
I use my D1 in my car EVERY day without a problem
