Using 1x instead of 3G ???

I didn't see it "all day" but I also saw 1X at times today in areas where I normally get 3G service. Curious.

Might need to update your roaming capabilities by dialing *228 and choosing option 2, I believe.

it hasn't benn "all day" i guess but it is on 1x way more than 3g

hmmm ... just updated my roaming capabilities and it's still on 1x guess i'll be goin to verizon tomorrow

I get this problem often, when i use wifi and then turn it off I never get my 3g service back, I have to turn off the phone then back on. Does anyone know of a remedy?

I also had this happen when I left my house and forgot to turn wifi off. I also lost the ability to make regular phone calls. After a reboot everything was fine.

Mine switches between 3g and 1x depending on the weather here I think. Today lots of 3g , but yesterday, lots of 1x. Today is sunnier. lol. For sure the *228 helped me even gain connectivity last week.
