Use phones internet through USB for blu ray player?

I have a Vizio blu ray player and I was wondering if there was a way to connect my Bionic though USB to the blu ray player to use the internet?

I'm not rooted and I know the speeds wont be that great through USB.

yes and no... you need hdmi cable...if your tv has hdmi or blu ray has hdmi ...the bionic has a built in feature called webtop
