He said USB tether, not WiFi tether.

The general answer is it should work on all ROMs that support WiFi tether (namely they have the required kernel modules to do NAT and address rewriting.)

Whats the difference between USB tether and Wifi tether app? I never knew. I always hook up my phone to PC, load my tether app, and go online, bam.

Is this an April Fool's joke?

USB - tether by connecting a USB cable.

WiFi - tether without a cable by connecting to a WiFi access point existing inside your phone.

Def does not work gives kernel error. You have to use kernels made for cyanogen which kdont work for any other roms.

AdamZ @ alldroid is in the process, but he's been having issues getting the kernel stable.

Slightly off topic, but I have used PDANet, and it has worked flawlessly, it gives the option for both usb and bluetooth connectivity.

    USB Tether

I was under the impression that it is a driver issue.
I cannot lie, I dont know much about it, but the existing drivers will not allow data tethering as they are, they would need to be changed.
Is that the KERNEL Changes you are talking about?
