I have bugless beast 0.7.9

firmware 2.0.1

Kernel 2.6.29 Smoked Glass

I want to upgrade everything because i am a little behind. been busy with work.I went to read Pete's [ROM] Bugless Beast V0.7 (ESE53 Beta)

and it says don't do this if you have 2.0.1 so i want to take the proper steps to do this right. can someone post some links for me to read? thanks.. search didn't yield the answers i needed

or even do i just go to standard 2.1 unrooted? or can i not do that now that i am rooteD? lol not that i want to go back.

You can do Pete's nandroid ROM....but DON'T use the update.zip

Use the nandroid and you HAVE TO wipe data....

That's all you gotta do and you'll be fine

and the kernel and whatever else is needed? :icon_ banana::icon_ banana:

Nandroid Backup Installation Instructions:
-Update & backup any files you wish to restore, this will wipe /data
-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR or a similar program
-Place the extracted folder (the ROM) into the "nandroid" folder on your sdcard
-Reboot into recovery mode (hold the power and "x" button at the same time)
-Wipe data/factory reset (do this twice!)
-Wipe cache partition (do this twice!)
-Backup/Restore
-Advanced Nandroid Restore
-Choose backup (select the ROM)
-Perform Restore
-Enjoy!

Yes, that's the one you have to do. Follow those instructions and you'll have the newest update. I followed them just like that and it worked fine for me and runs great. Pete always has great ROMs. Enjoy it!
