Has anyone else seen this message "updating SIM card"? It just popped up and I read it and then it vanished. Just curious.

Aslo, I was at a Nissan dealership over the weekend and noticed an icon of a little house with 2 little lines over it (looked like the wifi curved lines) above the signal bars. What the hell is that!?!?!?

It could be updating the PRL, or something else along those lines. With LTE devices, that sort of thing is done automatically.

As for the icon, is it possible that it was a triangle and not a house? If it was a triangle, that indicates CDMA roaming.

...or it could be that you're connected to a network extender.
