"Updating Media Files..." loop

Somehow after a recent sync of music files using isyncr my droid x is stuck in a updating media files loop. It constantly updates the media files, which kills the performance, and makes the phone virtually un-usable. This is really frustrating. I thought it might have been an issue with the sd card not being ejected properly, but it read fine on the computer.

I am out of ideas. This has become ridiculously annoying, and I cannot find a fix for it.

Anyone? This issue is still happening after uninstalling the isyncr applications. The phone is so dragged down it is ridiculous.

Really looking for any ideas that might be able to help. Possibly some sort of manual setting that can be changed? Anything!
