Updated to Jellybean and now all documents and info is gone

I updated to jellybean and as a result cannot access any of my documents and information that I put into my calender. The information and documents I had on my phone are very important and I'm frustrated beyond words. Does anyone know how, if at all possible, I can get my documents and information back? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
