Earlier we posted that CyanogenMod is finally available for the HTC One M9. The only issue I was running into is that the rom is entirely unusable. It has no nav bar or status bar! Have you ever tried to use an android device without a back button or home button? It just isn't possible, or at least it is possibly but excruciating. There is a fix.

Apparently the developers of the rom had not realized that this happens only with a clean install. They have posted an earlier build which has working nav bar and status bar. They are suggesting to download both the old version and new version of the rom, then wipe data, install the old version of the rom, boot into the rom set it up, then dirty flash the new version of the rom this time without a data wipe. This does seem to be working! Grab the old version of the rom below.
