Upcoming LG 4G Android Device [Rumor]

I like the idea of this phone.. but if you don't live in a 4G area and I probably won't for at least 6-18 months.... I am assuming you can't get a 3G plan with this?

Sure you could why would you pay 4g if you're area does not have 4g. If verizon does that charge you for 4g and u have no 4g ur area consider of ripping off isn't it??

It's stupid but its also still cheaper than an unlimited plan on Verizon for ~ $130. Or $79.99 on sprint? I want the Droid incredible HD but got this evo to try and save some money.$154/month for a third line of a family plan is way to much.

Trying out Sprint for a month. Sent from my Evo using Tapatalk. 4G is pointless when you don't live in one of the few available network areas.

Well, sprint charged you $10 for the EVO regardless where you lived....

One thing to keep in mind that might save us: VZW will be using similar cards. So maybe the phone will work in 3g mode until you insert an activated 4g sim.

My wife has the Ally and it's more of a budget phone, but the quality is right up there.

The skin is relatively non-existent. They give you the option of 2 launchers which is nice.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

Just saw the picture and specs from engadget. As much as I don't like my LG Voyager, this phone is making me rethink LG.

the fact that it's claiming to have a close to 'vanilla' experience peaks my interest. I'm sick of the overlayed UI's... I want me some vanilla
