Unrooting

    I am trying to unroot my phone and when I try the 2.0.1 manual update, I am getting an error 7 when I try it, any help?

    Try redownloading the update file and do a checksum on it to make sure it matches.

    But really, why would anybody want to unroot their phone? I don't understand it.

    you should be able to apply the 2.0.1 update without unrooting.

    HUGE CAVEAT: don't install 2.0.1 if you have removed/renamed default apps. they must be renamed to their original names.
