Unrooting problems with emulator

    Sorry I am a newbie, I have to return my Droid x phone to Verizon for software issues. I did the ota to 2.2 the day I bought it then rooted. Now I need to unroot to return it to the store to swithch the phone out. I have been trying to use an unrooting process posted by WrightPerspective using terminal emulator. I keep getting a message that superuser is read only. I get through all the steps and reboot and my phone is still rooted and the same please help. I rooted using do root for 2.2 Thanks.

    Im sorry but how do I flash, I am really a novice. I downloaded the zip file you added to the comment. The only reason I rooted was for the wifi. I didnt remove any apps like kindle or blockbuster. I added widgets and launcher pro to download wallpapers but thats it. I am still a bit lost here
