unrooting? factory reset?

    just kind of a stupid questoin maybe, i rooted over the weekend and rom managered the Ultimate Droid 8.6.3 or something close to it and its just quite alot to take it. would a factory reset (wiping out everyting) bring the phone back to stock or is there something else i have to do?

    Revert back to stock with rom manager. Choose "ultimate droid" and then at the bottom of the rom list choose "stock images"

    That appears to be the easiest way. There are other more complicated methods, thanks huskur.

    Is the stock option only available in the paid version?

    If so, you can download droid mod'd dmupdater for free from their site. Ur can take you back to stock, but since ultimate droid is 2.1 based, you'll have never ending force closes when it reboots itself. Don't panic. Pull the battery out, hold x and power back on in recovery and do a factory reset and then clear the cache partition and reboot.

    Incase you haven't unrooted yet before you do at first rooting and all the roms is a lot to take in and handle (was for me at first) but after a bit it gets easier and less overwhelming =) and believe me its a lot less boring than being on stock. Point is give it some time before unrooting, or try out a different rom but don't give up so easily
