Every time I try and flash I get "Phone[0000]: Error switching phone to BP Pass through mode (0x70BE)". Anyone know of a solution to my problem? Using RSD Lite 4.6 on xp 32 bit with moto drivers

    Unbrick.

I have bricked my phone, and I am trying to unbrick. I have RSDLite and the .sbf file, but USB debugging is not turned on. I cannot get back into the phone to turn it on. Is there any way around this, or am I missing something? Every time I try to start the process I get the "Flash failed" error instantly.
:( Is there anything I can do?

got rsd, got moto drivers, got 2.0.1. did it. now when i go to activate, it gives me problems, the phones presses buttons for me! Just starts going wacky! Do I have a bad sensor and if so, is there a way to tell if i am stock so I can return it? I would hate for them to find it. Not be stock, and get screwed! IDEAS?

I think mine's toast. the screen never comes on. I have to guess when its turning on to hold up at the right time, it connects then fails at some point during the process.

the cat knocked the phone off my desk while a new kernel was being flashed via update.zip, it came unplugged and knocked the battery out.

    I think she's hosed.

I may be a little off topic here...but am I the only one wondering what everyone is doing to brick their phone in the first place? Are you guys not researching before attempting any modifications? I'm Sorry, after reading this thread I couldn't help myself! ={ Please accept my humble apology.

I dropped mine while flashing a new kernel, the battery flew out.

I really dont see how you can brick these things w/o doing something like what i did, the tools make it nearly foolproof

For those that are following all the instructions including not having the files on the desktop here is what worked for me. I did everything I could and it would not work on my computer.

I took it to a different computer and it went right through.

Now my next advice is don't make the mistake of going stock again and you will save lots of grief.
