Hey all hopefully this is the right location for this post, Im new to the forums here. I recently found a verizon droid on a camping trip and would like to play around with it. The first problem is getting past the pass code entry, obviously I cant guess it. Are there any boot programs that override the code? Also will rooting it solve the code issue?
    Thanks

No one here is going to support someone who didn't return lost property. Please return it to Verizon. I'm sure the owner of the phone would do the same if you lost your phone. It's of no use to you, it's locked.

Do the right thing, even if you don't believe in karma you will feel better knowing you helped out someone by saving them 200+ dollars.

That and you won't be able to sell a lost phone. It's ESN is probably blacklisted anyway.

Just go into your local verizon store and tell them the same story you told us. I'm sure they'll sympathize with you and unlock it. :D while you're there you might even get them to root it and install a kickarse rom. I heard somewhere that they're even giving away free data plans during the month of june so you better hurry! Good luck!
