uninstalling stock apps.

Hi guys,

Im rooted but I still don't have the option available to uninstall some if the stock apps. I houht I would be able to. Is that not the case?

What are you using to uninstall?? I don't think it shows up in the Applications manager list just because you're rooted. You would have to download Root Explorer or something in order to see the apps in the Systems folder and then rename/delete the .apk and they won't show up in the apps list anymore.

I would advise on renaming them from .apk to .bak over deleting them.

I figured out how to move them, I created a folder app.disable and moved them there so I can move them back if I want them back.
