I'm now ruining Tranquility rom on my DX. when I first installed it, I hadn't reset to factory. And market wouldn't download any apps. Now that I did all works well. And I'm loving it.
My question is, if say a rom I install did have the market problem would there be a quick way to restore, like with the bootstrap, or would one have to use RSD. Since one couldn't install bootstrap?

Thanks all. I'm sure this was answered before, but I couldn't find it :)

As long as you made a backup in Clockworkmod, you should be able to bootstrap and restore it without RSD :)

It's just that I don't see how one would have access to the recovery without first installing the bootstrap app. And if I didn't have market access I don't know how I would install anything... I'm Sure I'm missing something

The recovery image is completely separate from the market. You can boot into recovery by holding "x" during bootup and backup or restore from there.
