So I get how to install apk's on root explorer and I understand r/w -r/o however I dont know how to uninstall them. Do I just delete them reboot and be good or is there another trick to it? When I tap on the app it only says install-view-cancel. Same thing goes for zips how do I uninstall them? Can somone please know me up on the trick of the trade .

What are you trying to uninstall? I just use uninstaller from the market to uninstall apps. If its something that's not on the list I just change the apk to bak. That way it doesn't run. Its like uninstalling expect you can change it back when you need to.

Thank you for the reply. I am talking about themed .apk or zips that I installed for customization but. Now want to revert back or there is a newer version out and it requires to uninstall the old one.

You should be able to go into root explorer, go to the app, long press and uninstall should come up. Or delete.

K there is a delete option. So just delete and reboot and the app should be gone right? Is that the same for installed .zips?

Same for .zip files. No reboot needed.

There is an app called Bloat Freezer. Works great. Freezes apps instead of uninstalling them. Be careful what you uninstall cause some apps work with others and your phone can become unstable.
