Under Maps locating other contacts

I was told yesterday by Verizon tech to check this out. If you go to map application and click on menu - latitude - menu again - add friends . You are able to add there location. My question is why it only pulling up 4 friends out of my contacts. Is this an option that still has bugs? There is another application out there called loopt that does same thing.

Has any one else try this?

The contact also has to be using Latitude.
I would assume it's because only 4 of your contacts are using Latitude

Yes I would think that but not true. Two of the ones that show up is my name twice. Which I don't have my own number saved in my contacts. Have you try this? Also my buddy contact doesn't show up and he's the one that told me about it.

I think the contacts you want to add have an e-mail address in their contact profile too.

Yes, because Latitude sends an e-mail request to prospective contacts.
