Unable to send pictures

I'm unable to send pictures via MMS. I have the camera resolution set to normal and the camera set to 2 megapixels. The picture I'm trying to send is 270KB at a resolution of 1600x1200. Any ideas why this isn't working?

I had the same issues with my Droid yesterday - finally got it to work, but could not find the source.

Anyone out there with some insight?
