Unable to make/recieve calls

Data on phone works fine. When I make a call it just sits on "dialing" then times out. If someone calls me, goes straight to vm.

All bars... And no 611 and *228 give the same result.

I've even tried flashing back to recovery from 04/01/11 when I know for sure everything was smooth

Mine started doing this yesterday also. I had to pull my battery, and it started working again. Also, some of my calls would go just to voicemail, and my text messages would not come through when people would send them. This morning, it dumped 15 messages, & half of them were from yesterday. When my phone does ring, and I miss the call, the backlight just stays on until i reconize I missed it. I called tech support last night, and there just sending me a new phone. They couldn't figure out why it would do that, but said the update must have messed up the software.

Just reflash the Modem/Radio and it should work fine.

Download the Modem/Radio
Open ODIN
Take battery out of phone and hook it up to computer and put it in download mode
Flash the Modem/Radio with ODIN.
Boot back up.


This should definitely work, but please let me know either way. I had the same problem one time.

Call me crazy, but I think it has to do w vzw's 2.2 release. I didn't accept it, but I have 3 lines, the fascinate the only one doing it.

I've talked to a couple fascinate owners saying the same thing

There are confirmed random data outages on the VZW network...they are working on getting it fixed....

This just happened to me today. I had to remove the battery to be able to make a call.

Too many issues for me and Froyo. I'm flashing back to 2.1 as I type...
