Unable to delete

I am trying to delete the notifications from my phone. The notifications from the facebook app. I am using the one that same with the phone but updated it to the 1.1.4 that was on the market place. I click on the facebook app then hit notifications and can see them and read them. But how do I delete the notification on the page???

You can't delete them from the app. You would have to go the site with the browser. Why bother deleting them though?
