You wonder what the custom boot animations offered through Droid Customizer look like? Well here is your reference guide...

I take no credit for the images below. I only extracted them and converted all to animated gif files.

Thanks to all who created these wonderful boot animations.
Thanks to the blackdroid for Ultimate Droid!

Click the below images to see a sample animation of each.

    Awesome!

Can you tell me how you converted them to GIF? I was trying to figure out an easy way to do that.

    My Boot

One of my favorites done in cs4, much cleaner as a png on my boot screen

A great file program to use to convert your .png to animated .gif is Easy Gif Animator, just simply dump all images from your bootanimation.zip in one second, fix the frame delay, save as gif, and voila. Hopes that help.

I used GiftedMotion for the conversion...

It does not convert the RGB images to 255 indexed mode, creating rather large files. No optimization is done on the resulting animation.

    Features of the current version:
    • Runs on Linux, Mac OS and Microsoft Windows.
    • Multi language support ( )
    • GPL software, no licensing costs.
    • KISS approach. No steep learning curve.
    • No installation required. Just put the jar file on your Desktop (or any place else) and start it. GiftedMotion will not bury itself into your operation system.
    • Since GiftedMotion is small in size, you can even bookmark this page and come back and start it from here, whenever needed.
    • Supports the following input formats: PNG, JPG / JPEG, BMP and GIF.
    • Easy to adjust position of images within frames and size of the resulting image.
    • Preview function.
    • Able to edit existing images

Optimization (if you can call it that) done in The GIMP
