LMAO don't worry, Micro$oft poses no threat to Android whatsoever with their crap Windows phones.

don't see the hate about Windows Mobile.

I came from a Tilt which ran WinMo and i loved it. It literally was like a smaller computer to me and i definitely know my way around a computer. It's a great OS, definitely not user friendly, but a great OS.

That being said, I am anxious to see what WinMo 7 is going to be like. It definitely looks for user friendly and seems pretty cool.

I can't see myself switching away from Android, as this OS is very user-friendly and has tons of potential. I love my Droid and have 0 doubts about getting one, but I'm still gonna give other phones a chance.

Without competition, how can Android get better?:icon_ banana:

Windows Mobile 7 at least isn't the 'way late' and embarrassing attempt that OS 6.0 is from BlackBerry. Lol

edit: hadn't watched the video at first.... not a fan of the 'hub' at all

Windows will continue to have a following; but that hub thing seems no different then what the incredible and the motor blur is doing.
They going to have a fan base who think that is great, just like you have a fan base that thinks everything that blackberry, apple, or google android does is great. But I think they may want to make a little bit more of an effort to try to leap a little more forward.

Actually WP7 looks pretty decent compared to iPhone OS4.0. I would think that in the end Android and WP7 would share the top spots at 1 and 2 respectfully and iPhone will sit in 3rd. Granted this won't happen overnight but within 12 - 18 months we will definitely have a good benchmark on how things will eventually play out.

If the phone/screen itself is not good, it just wont be good. I had the Omnia 1, hated the screen so much I didnt even try to update it when that big update came out. I didnt attempt to try the Omnia 2. I didnt even try to see if it used a capacitive screen. That experience with a touchscreen only phone had my dying to get a physical keyboard. If this Droid had a screen like the Omnia 1, I woulda returned it weeks ago.

Now, after using the Droid, I know what kind of screen to look for. (I know the iPhone has a capacitive screen but I never used an iPhone.) If Windows phones are using capacitive screens now I might try another one. But the whole registry thing is another con. Installing/uninstalling apps on a Droid is a breeze.

LOL, I can already see these failing.

Microsoft should stick to what they know, which is not mobile phone software.
