I am more than likely going to get off my parents plan and get my own(in advance i was looking at Tmoblie and Sprint since there a little cheaper price) but anyways the real question. I really like Ud on my droid1, I was thinking of getting the nexus s. Should i wait for the "better phones" that are always being rumored? I really like plain android and custom roms, kernals, etc. I am just wondering if there is going to be good developer support for the Nexus s, right now it does not look bad. I want more options than just cyanogen mod though. I do not really care for 4g i use wifi a lot and 3g speeds are fine for now. I like playing games on my phone and watching videos, plus the obvious rom and kernal flashing i mentioned earlier.

I was also wondering if Ud fixed the quadrant score on the nexus s like some of the developers on Xda have. Thanks everyone.

Recommend waiting on new devices for a couple reasons:

Whether or not they are/can be rooted, and to what extent.

True performance is unknown until released.

Price, always a concern.

Accessories - batteries + battery life once (if) rooted and customized ROMs are put through their paces on the new devices.

just mho...
