I recently installed Ultimate Droid but its capping off my processor speed at 800 mhz, when I was running Sapphire 7.10 I was always free to clock it to whatever speed I like. Now I'm restricted and all of my apps are running slower. does anybody know a way around this?

You need a higher clocked kernal, UD sets it at 800mhz since just about every Droid can do 800mhz, some have issues with 1ghz+.

    http://www.droidforums.net/forum/chevyno1/56259-froyo-kernels-7-1-2010-ulv-lv-mv.html

Start at medium voltage 1ghz, slowly creep your way up to 1.25ghz.. and then see if that's stable, use the most stable one.. then if you want to reduce heat and save battery try the low voltage roms.. try the low voltage of your most stable (IE if 1.25ghz is stable, try low voltage 1.25ghz) and if you are really lucky try 1.25ghz Ultra Low Voltage.

Then stick what one works best.

I'm using a 1.1 ghz kernel but my cpu speed never goes higher than 800 mhz.
