Ud 3.0.1 issues

Since I've installed 3.0.1 on my droid 1 my phone is super laggy and super buggy. Many downloads will cancel before they finish and picture messages have to be sent up to three times before I receive them. Also I've noticed I have hardly any ram (32 mb) when nothing is running but core apps. Many hot reboots as well. I've already fixed permissions and reflashed. I'm running a chey no1 1ghz kernel.

Does anyone have any advice to fix this? I keep reading posts about how fast ppls phones are and I'm jealous.

Did you wipe before flashing?

Try enabling compcache. It makes a difference on gb ROMs because they are so aggressive with memory.

you should go into the UD settings for performance or whatever, then lock home and MMS into memory. i don't know why those aren't default.

What does lock home and mms do? I've done it but i m not sure I understand why. Cuz of not reciving picture messages? Anlso compcashe is in recovery right?
