This is not one of those should I root questions, nor is it the 'whats the difference?' type.
I currently use a stripped down stock ROM, with a custom kernel from Radizero. I get great battery life but I was curious if anything in UD 2.5 (since i would like to stay Froyo) is setup for better battery life? I'm not worried about the custom options, just wondering if the devs remove/changed/modified things for battery life.

PS - my wife is pregnant so once the baby comes, Ill be away from chargers alot so battery life is most important to me.
