Ok when I access a pdf book I have on my phone it takes it like a champ, but when I try to read a book in. Txt format it takes forever to completley load and it makes my phone run like crap to the point a lot of the time that it freezes and reboots. Does droid2 just not like. Txt or is there something wrong with my phone?

What app you using for pdf? I have not tried a .txt file so am unsure on that. Have been looking for a good pdf reader though.

Download astro file manager and see what happens when you open it as a text file

How big is the file as well? If it's a book, it may just be too big for the apps to open reliably.
What you're describing is what happens when you try to open a 150M text file in Notepad (Well, without the reboot, but it isn't that far-fetched)

Yeah, that's a big .txt file, but not big enough to really cause a problem, at least with a computer. Good to know though, just in case I need to open a server log on my phone ;)
