If you want to flash customizations and Roms you are going to need to have TWRP installed on your device. There are other recoveries but Team Win Recovery Project is the standard. It is super easy to use with its large touchscreen buttons, and it is now available for the LG G4. You will need to first unlock your bootloader. So far that means this is only available for the H815 version of the G4. Pretty soon we should have unlocked bootloaders on other variants of the G4. Today Jcase posted a photo of his brand new LG G4. That means the sunshine bootloader unlock app should be updated to support our devices soon. Head to the link below to grab TWRP.
