If you are one of the few remaining out their who runs custom roms on your smartphone you will be happy to know that TWRP has just added support for many popular handsets. The Honor 6X, WileyFox 2X and many other devices are now supported.

Newly supported devices include:

How many of you out there still make use of TWRP on your phone? I had once thought i would never stop romming devices. Over time I finally got tired of the buggy experience that accompanied most roms and rarely flash them these days.

I used to run Alliance Rom on my Note 3. Then I switched to the V10 and just the instructions on how to root were more than I wanted to bother with. Now that I play Pokemon Go it's even worse since I'd have to play tag with Niantic by masking root. The only thing I really miss about having root is the ability to use Titanium backup. There really is no non-root equivalent. Eliminating bloat is also a benefit of root but I find just disabling it works for me since I am not space challenged anymore.
