This is a two part request

    1) I wonder if it is possible to add an option within the contacts to leave specified contacts out of the call log

    2) and this one maybe asking a lot but would you consider opening the source for this mod? or all your sources?

I understand you place a lot of time into your ROMs and their features but I just want to learn and open source helps those of us who WANT to become better.

    Thank you in advance!

Don't know if the first part is possible but for the second, the main source of all roms would be the android open source project (AOSP)

    http://source.android.com/source/index.html

And Chevy usually uses cyanogenmod rom as a base to work more easily from (doesn't have to build the ENTIRE rom by himself lol)

True and I'm super familiar with both but chevy must have heavly modded CMs source to allow chevy tools to do the magic it does.

Sorry I've just always been the one who wanted to see behind the curtains ;-)

I don't know a whole lot about actually compiling a rom but most of Chevy's tools are basically an easier way of running busybox scripts because most of that stuff can be done in terminal emulator if you wanted...like the extensions/filesystems can be manually added with insmod scripts
Although I am sure he does modify the cm base for speed and stability though, afterall it runs far better even with the extra Chevy tools
