For folks who follow the Twitter-verse, you probably already heard about their experimental new idea called the "Buy Button." The concept is that whenever a certain product which is affiliated with this program is Tweeted, a Buy button will show up in the Tweet. Clicking on it will take you straight to a landing page allowing you to instantly purchase the item.
This idea has been in the development stages for a while, but now it just went live for its initial test run. During this testing phase, only a limited number of retailers and users will get to try it out. If everything goes according to plan, then this will become a permanent feature of Twitter and start including more and more businesses.
