I was just wondering. Is there an App that would allow me to watch TV on my Droid? And I don't mean like pre-selected TV episodes and clips from only a handful of TV channels, I mean actual TV, like it can receive TV airwaves and play them on your phone.

No, the phone doesn't have an antenna like that to my knowledge.

There are apps that allow it over the internet though (wifi / 3g)

Really? The phone has Radio apps, so I would think it would have an antenna.

What's the app for the internet?

The phone (if your talking about the Droid1 hacking here) does not have a working radio app, all radio apps for it work through 3G or WIFI streaming (raidotime or xiia).

I have heard of a TV app, but it is crap in my opinion. Just wait as android evolves. Or buy a television.

Only thing that would be close is slingplayer and a slingbox connected to home network to watch tv from home anywhere.

    Slingmedia

You can receive TV on your Droid by using an app called SlingPlayer. But you will also need a SlingBox at your home that connects to your tv cable
or your cablebox and that box needs to connect to the internet with a high speed internet connection
I use it and it works very good as long as your Droid has a 3G signal.

There is another similar app that is in the works (or maybe avaiable now) but I cant remember what its called.

If you have flash, I think justin.tv is a good web site. Haven't tried it on phone.

Also, CBS has a tv app that works only over wifi.

Slingbox is the best thing though. For about $200 you could set it up.

Live TV is a great app and it has several tv channels. I was watching ESPN live just a while ago. Have to have 2.2 to see it in market, I believe.

    Sounds good.

My Voyager had FLO TV, but that had a separate antenna and cost $9.95/month extra.

That app, "Live TV", is great (and free) - I happened to come across it the other day. The quality is definitely not perfect, but the plus side to that is that makes streaming with 3G a decent experience. The app is really just a shell taking you to the specific channel at http://www.channelsurfing.net... but I'll take it. :) (Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is required...)
