Turn off 4g on gn2...

Can anyone tell me how to turn off 4g on the gn2? I live in a 3g area and don't need my phone constantly searching for 4g...thanks to anyone that can help...

Hello? Can anyone please help? It seems my questions get ignored in this forum...don't know why? Someone else can ask about a "good case for a phone" and get 20 replies, I ask for help on getting my phone to run better and get no replies!

I don't know if you can selectively turn off 4G. When I go into the mobile network settings, I see the only network options is to choose between Global, LTE/CDMA, and GSM/UMTS as the preferred network mode.

Not sure if you can but it seems someone did post something about being able to do it a while ago on here. I think Verizon is different of course and I don't remember if it worked for Verizon or not.

I use this app called phone info and it works just fine.
