im at 4:10 but i cant get the s flash to showup
Make sure you have downloaded the Moto Drivers.
Make sure you have downloaded the proper SBF file you want.
Power down your phone.
Hold the up arrow as you power up and make sure that the bootloader screen appears as in the video.
Open RSDlite. If you are not using 4.9 you will have to follow the instructions elsewhere for installing the patch file. I recommend 4.9 to avoid this. Most likely this is the reason your attempt is failing. Then use the "..." box to select the SBF file you want to use.
Here's the tutorial I used: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...t_25Cg&usg=AFQjCNHjmB7s0_zudG8gbcLJpeviqQGgtQ
Have done this three times in the past two days, once to try a partial SBF change, while attempting to root after the update and it worked perfectly.
yea its 4.9....but the sbf is not in there
You have to download an SBF manually. I used the Full SBF file listed here under Update: TBH & MyDroidWorld Present: Droid 2 (2.3.20) Triple Threat Unzip it to a location that you can find easily such as desktop, etc, or a file location you can find down the road if you need to reflash again.
thats not global
Well google droid 2 global sbf. Should be easy to find.
no luck....thats my problem to..i need a sbf for global
Droid 2 Global SBF File (2.4.29) Full and RSDLite <-- Was the first result via Google.
thanks...is it the #2 post 1st download right above the mirror download??
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
i cant get the sbf file to open after i dl it....i even went to another computer and it wont open
Download the one I linked to. There is a big difference in size between the two files, the one you linked is under 100MB, and the one on MDW weighs in around 250MB. The original Droid SBF files were over 100MB, so I would imagine the D2G's would be larger than the OG Droid's..... But of course I could be wrong.
downloadlink for rsd is not available
