Trying to save on Data MB

    It's almost impossible. However, with Mobile Data turned off (like I told you how to do) you can still send and receive calls -- you just have no data connection without WiFi.

    Where do I go to change (or stop) the refresh settings on FB?

    Thanks, I found it now and stopped it. I think this will work best. I can turn it on when I want to connect, then turn it off. I can still text with mobile off, right?

    I know, I will probably upgrade to the unlimited soon, but just wanted to see if I could get by with 150. Money is tight....
    I wouldn't have got the droid now but it was free at Best Buy this week and couldn't pass it up.

    Texting is handled via CDMA rather than EVDO rev A (3G), so it will still get your texts.

    If you have access to a WiFi network you can turn WiFi on and still use data without going against your monthly quota.

    And kill that task killer. Task killers are BAD with a capital HORRIBLE! :D
