Trying to Get New Droid

    Well after buying my droid about 8 days ago i reached for it in my pocket, snagged something on the way out and watched it plummet onto rocks. :( it has a minor crack on the screen that you can only see in the right light. Still bugs the crap out of me. Can anyone advise me on what i should say at the VZW store to get a replacement phone? without having to pay?

    You might be in luck!

    Do not tell Verizon why you are doing this, obviously. I believe you have up to 14 days to decide on the insurance. If they asked you to get it and you said no, say I have no idea what you are talking about and get them to provide the insurance. If you can get wait a month or ask someone from Verizon who might know, might not if they have your number (like a remote store etc.) to see when you can put in a claim. I believe once you have insurance you have to always have it, not sure, but this will allow you to get this one replaced now for little cost.
