So, I was off a bit and came back to see a leaked 2.2. Rock.
So, I go to give it a shot. My X was rooted without ADB because no matter what I tried, it would not work (code 10 device cannot be started error when I tried to update drivers).
I followed the instructions here How to get 2.2, Rooted, on your Droid X - Droid X Rooting - AllDroid Public Board - How to get 2.2, Rooted, on your Droid X - Droid X Rooting - AllDroid Public Board - AllDroid.org > Home and checked and double checked. Everytime, I get stuck in bootloop and I think it is because i am not using ADB.
Is there a way to get 2.2 without ADB. If so, where might I find this magical solution? If not, any ideas on how to remedy this annoying ADB issue. Or is my problem something other than ADB?
Sure, I could wait for the OTA update but...goodness knows when we will see that!
