I wanted to go back to stock 2.2 on my phone to take it in for servicing, the usb jack was pretty loose. I tried to use rom manager to install stock images (droid 2.2 frg01B)
This was successful and it took me back to where I wanted it to, unrooted.
So I thought. I then tried to root my phone using androot, easy root, and rom manager again (after taking in my phone and getting it fixed). Everytime I tried to root it, the applications said that my phone was already rooted but I could not install and custom roms or use and apps that require root.
On top of that I cant reboot into recovery or flash clockworkmod recovery.

Any ideas? I would like to root my phone again, or at least fully go back to stock so I can root things myself. I'm just lost right now.

    Thanks!
