Traveling in Asia

I am traveling to china and the philipines in a few weeks.

I was wondering if anyone has used their droid in these countries. I have found plug adapters but dont know if I need a transformer or not to lower the voltage. Or, if the droid charger will accept either 110 or 220v.

Plus I was told the droid works fine in china but in the philipines it is mostly a tsm network and the droid uses a cdma network?


Any info on using a droid in these countries would be appreciated.
